Whatever Has The Loudest Voice In Your Life Has The Loudest Influence. Is It Jesus?

Who has the loudest voice in your life? Whatever has the loudest voice in your life is the loudest influence. Is God the loudest voice? Does Jesus influence you? Are you listening to the Holy Spirit?

The Bible says we, as Christians, are to take on the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16). Therefore, in order for us to take on the mind of Christ we have to know what did Jesus says. Moreover, what did Jesus do when He walked the Earth? For we know that Jesus was God in human flesh. Further, Jesus said whatever the Father does, He does likewise (John 5:19). This was Jesus demonstrating His intimacy with the Father.

Jesus should influence everything we do. This is why we are Christ followers. If we are doing otherwise, it means we have taken our eye off of Him. We represent Christ on the Earth. If we love Christ we will follow His commands (John 14:15). We cannot do this on our own. Even now, we need the Holy Spirit’s help to do this (John 14:26).

God wants intimacy with us. It is not enough to go through the motions of going to church. God is seeking an intimate relationship with us through His son, Jesus Christ. Undoubtedly, it is a beautiful relationship to have with God. Because of what Jesus did on the cross for us, we can have this wonderful relationship. The Holy Spirit will bring to our remembrance the things of God and Jesus. This is why this relationship is so special.

In conclusion, pay attention who is the loudest in your life. So, if it is the world and culture, you will find yourself easily taking on those things. Conversely, if it is Jesus and God, you will be reflecting their character in your life. Likewise, you will have the Fruit of the Spirit oozing out and delighting yourself in the Lord. These are the influences that bring us peace and rest in our life. These are the supernatural things of God that we live by. Amen. Love & Blessings!
