On behalf of Where Is God Now Ministries and Glick Housing Foundation we appreciate the treasures you released to us during the food drive for the residents at Governor’s Pointe. Your monetary and food donations enabled us to provide needed groceries!
Sometimes we miss God as He is working in our lives. The beauty of these pop-up food pantries is God shows up! We feel His presence as we are serving the people. We see how it impacts the people as they receive what God has provided for them… It shows on their faces.
We encountered a legally blind resident. Unfortunately, initially we were not aware until she told us. She had gathered her food and one of the police officers was able to escort and carry her groceries back to the apartment. This one example of God at work. We humble ourselves to help others. In the process they get blessed and we do too… God blesses us all!
We thank our community partners, In Touch Ministries, Chesapeake Police Department, JustServe, and other volunteers who gave of their time at the food pantry. We never know how God is going to move at these pop-up food pantries. However, if you look for Him, as in all things in life, you will SEE Him!
Take a look at the below photo gallery. These are a few of the pictures from the event. Clicking on any picture will open up the gallery to see pictures up close. See ALL that you have done!
Your individual donations along with donations from businesses, corporations, foundations were tremendously appreciated.
Where Is God Now Ministries is the hands, mouth and feet of Jesus on the Earth… We are humbled to serve God and His people… We can’t do it without YOU!
Thank you for your continued love and support…
Love & Blessings!
Gwen
