We, believers, are the apple of God’s eye! (Psalm 17:8, Zachariah 2:8) It is one of the reasons He hates sin. He does not like what it does to us. Ultimately, it destroys. God does not want to see the apple of His eye destroyed.
God wants relationship with us. We are partners with God. He has promised us an abundant, victorious life on the Earth. (John 10:10) God has given each of us purpose (Isaiah 43:7). He has created the BEST plan for each of us, too! (Jeremiah 29:11)
As a result of our relationship with God, we get intimacy with Him. We know he protects, leads and guides us, if we let Him. He is always working on our behalf! (Psalm 121:3-4) He can also work everything out for our good for those who love Him ( Romans 8:28). What a BEAUTIFUL relationship!
God has promised never to leave nor forsake us (Deuteronomy 31: 6, 8, Hebrews 13:5). We can sense God’s love in our lives. He has given us the beauty of His creation to enjoy on the Earth. This is another way God expresses His love to us.
We are cherished by God. He loves us intensely (John 3:16). He made each of us uniquely and special. There is no one else like YOU! That makes YOU awesome! So, as we recognize Valentine’s Day, remember, YOU ARE GOD’S FAVORITE VALENTINE! Amen! Love & Blessings!
