YOU DID IT! We collected over 100 pairs of shoes! We could not have done it without YOU! THANK YOU!
Where Is God Now Ministries, Inc. is a member of the Chesapeake Re-entry Council. These shoes will be used at the upcoming job/resource fair hosted by the Council on September 17. Please see the attached flyer for more details.
We Need Some Additional Help!
We need plastic grocery bags for the ladies and gentlemen to carry their shoes away in. Any shopping bags you have we would love to have them. I will collect these bags on Saturday, September 14 and Sunday September 15. Please send me an email if you have bags to donate. As usual, if you want to leave bags at my garage door that is welcomed.
We also need help in setting up the 100 plus shoes the night before at the Cuffee Center at 7:00 pm. Additionally, if you are available to help the day of the Fair with giving out the shoes from 10AM-1PM that would be great. If you have 30 minutes or an hour or more to help, any time is appreciated.
Please email me if you are able to donate your plastic grocery bags or donate your time the day of the event, or both!
Lastly, any leftover men’s shoes will be made available to the men in recovery treatment at Fishing Point Recovery and/or men being released from St. Brides Correctional Center in October. The left over women’s shoes will be donated to local shelters.

Back by popular demand… Shoe Drive! Yes, Where Is God Now Ministries, Inc., is collecting your shoes, AGAIN! Donate now your NEW or GENTLY USED shoes. We are collecting dress shoes, casual shoes, industry shoes, bathroom/house slippers, athletic, rain shoes, boots, etc.
This is the time to clean out and clear out your shoes. These shoe will be made available to those who are in need to various communities and organizations throughout the area.
Collections dates are, Saturday, August, 17 and Sunday, August 18. Please email me if you have shoes to donate so I can schedule to pick them up. Or, as usual, if you want to drop them off by my garage door, that is fine, too. Just let me know.
