Celebrate Women’s History Month: God Created Woman!

Yesterday, on March 7, 2025, President Trump signed an executive order declaring March as Women’s History Month! And what history do we have, women! We all have our personal stories of trials and triumphs. Needless to say, we have persevered and proven to be resilient in all situations.

God saw the significance of women. Moreover, it is the reason He created US. Each of us are special and unique in our own right. We carry the incubator of mankind. Although we were created to be the helpmate for man, God has given us the capacity to be much more.

When we think about women making their mark in history, we start with the women God used in the Bible. These were POWERFUL women. They used their spiritual strength, wisdom and wit to navigate their lives. Today, it serves us well to pattern our lives in the same way.

When we look at the lives of these women, we realize, there is nothing new under the sun/Son. Rahab taught us how to choose God, despite what the culture/world was doing. The widow of Zarephath taught us how to cope in tough times. Hannah revealed how to deal with depression.

We learned how to use our spiritual gifts wisely from Huldah and Miriam. Esther showed us how to use our power to benefit others. The Proverbs 31 Woman displayed how to keep our priorities straight.

Relationships are an important part in women’s lives. Things will not always go smoothly. Still, Abigail revealed how to deal with a difficult husband. Furthermore, Leah exhibited living with a man who doesn’t love you.

Life can sometimes feel humdrum. In contrast, when we renew our minds daily, Ruth proclaims how to see God in the dailiness of life. Deborah educates us on leading when God calls us. Eve illuminates the long-term consequences in the decisions we make. To conclude, Mary enlightens us on being open to God to bring Christ into the world.

What women of Biblical history! Women we have a legacy of women to follow as examples. God made women, YOU, to impact the world in your unique mark! In God’s eyes we are all special and He uses all of us when we make ourselves available to Him. Celebrate the woman you are in Christ! God made YOU! Love & Blessings!
